MET Team

At Boone County Hospital, we never want a nurse to feel like he/she is in a complicated or difficult patient situation by him/herself.  The Medical Emergency Team (MET) is available to any Boone County Hospital nurse 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  The nurse may call upon this specialized team of clinical hospital professionals to assist him/her in developing a plan of care for a patient having difficulty, to help prevent a patient from having medical emergency, or to consult with the nurse when the nurse is simply unsure what to do next for a patient experiencing a health status change.
