Vaccines for children

With school just around the corner, it’s time for school-aged children to be vaccinated for childhood diseases, as well as for COVID if they are 12 or older.  If your child/children have not been vaccinated, please call Boone County Public Health at (515) 432-1127.   For the COVID vaccine, children 12 or older can currently receive the Pfizer vaccine at Public Health, Hy-Vee or Medical Associates in Boone.  In addition, if parents are still interested in the adult COVID vaccine, all three vaccines are currently available at Public Health.
