Self Isolation with COVID-19

Boone County Hospital and its Clinics care about the residents of the Boone County. If you are sick or do not feel well, please follow the steps below.

1. If you have a fever and respiratory symptoms, you need to self isolate until you are fever-free for 72 hours without the use of medications such as Tylenol. You also need to have improved symptoms and it needs to have been at least seven days since the onset of treatment.

2. If any household member has fever and respiratory symptoms, the remaining members in the house need to self isolate for 14 days.

3. In addition, if the well person becomes sick with similar symptoms, then they will need to isolate and follow the details from #1.
