BCH Volunteers Recognized for Their Time

The Annual Fall Recognition Dinner for the Boone County Hospital (BCH) Auxiliary was held the evening of October 17th at BCH. Thank you to the 70 volunteers who give of their time to make the hospital a better place. The Auxiliary provides funds for BCH programs, services and. Auxiliary projects and events including Jewelry Fairs, the Festival of Trees, Gifts Galore Gift Shop, hair care, and the monthly Blood Drive. From September 2015 through August 2016, BCH volunteers contributed nearly 10,000 hours to the hospital.

Congratulations to the following volunteers for being recognized at the dinner for their hours of service: Kathie Hakanson, 500 hours; Ann Gustafson, Laurie Greiner, 1000 hours; Jan Putnam, Jo Grimm, 1500 hours; Karen Anderson, 3500 hours; Heather Morrissey, 4000 hours; Glenda Camelin, 4500 hours; Jean Iben, 6000 hours; Joyce Gragg 6500 hours, Connie Kruck, 7000 hours; and Dorothy Huffman, 16,500 hours. Boone County Hospital is very fortunate to have such dedicated volunteers!

The BCH Auxiliary looks forward to their Annual Festival of Trees and Holiday Open House November 12th and 13th in the BCH Atrium and Gifts Galore. Bid on beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and holiday items through a silent auction and enjoy 20 percent off in Gifts Galore. Bring the kids to see Santa Claus, sign-up for door prizes, and enjoy holiday music and treats. The last day to bid is November 19 at 2 p.m.
