BCH Sleep Lab Receives Accreditation

Boone County Hospital (BCH) is happy to announce its approval of accreditation status by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for the Accelerated Sleep Program.

Achieving accreditation is a process where healthcare organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Accreditation by ACHC reflects an organizations’ dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

Upon a site visit in the coming weeks, approval of the site survey will allow Boone County Hospital to be accredited for a three-year accreditation cycle.

“We are very proud that the BCH Sleep Lab has been awarded accreditation by the ACHC, and we look forward to continuing to provide this important service to members of our community,” says Cindy Briley, Director of the Sleep Lab.
