Auxiliary donates to EAP

The Purse Auction held by the Boone County Hospital (BCH) Employee Assistance (EAP) Committee in the BCH Atrium in June had great results. Approximately 200 new or barely used purses were donated by employees and community members. Over $700 was raised from the event, and the most a purse was purchased for was $30. The committee is discussing future fundraisers for BCH Employee Assistance. Thank you to everyone that donated a purse or purchased a purse.

A huge thank you to the BCH Auxiliary for donating $2,000 to BCH Employee Assistance and to the BCH Foundation for donating $1,000. Your donations have made it possible for this new BCH endeavor to have a great start. To date, the EAP Committee has helped two employees who were struggling financially.
